The Aisle View: Tears of The Sun

DVD Savant - Exciting Restoration News
This week The DVD Savant has the scoop on an exciting restoration of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly MGM has finally been able to do the promised restoration of the top Spaghetti Western, And it's more than just adding the additional scenes that appear as an extra on the 1998 DVD. Far From Heaven
Universal Studios Home Video has announced the DVD release for the critically acclaimed Far From Heaven . Set for release on April 1st, Far From Heaven will be presented in Anamorphic widescreen with both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio and feature: “The Making of Far from Heaven,” a behind-the-scenes look at the film’s production; a feature commentary by director Todd Haynes; a Q&A segment with Julianne Moore and Todd Haynes, filmed in front of a live audience; and The Sundance Channel’s “Anatomy of a Scene,” an insightful and detailed look at the filmmaking process which explores one of the film’s key scenes (the cocktail party) through the actors, the choice of wardrobe, the set decoration, the score, the editing decisions, and other significant components. Set for release on May 6th Catch Me If You Can will be released in both Widescreen and a Full Screen Editions, both with Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS audio, featuring: 'Behind The Camera' - A Journey from book to Screen, 'Cast Me If You Can', 'Scoring Catch Me If You Can', 'Frank Abagnale: Between Reality and Fiction', The FBI Perspective and more.
