The Pianist
Universal Studios Home Video has announced the DVD release for the surprise Oscar winner The Pianist which won Oscars both for Best Actor (Adrien Brody) and Best Director (Roman Polanski). The Pianist is set for release on May 27th and will be available in separate Widescreen and Full Frame versions with Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio and feature: "Story of Survival" - a featurette on the making of the film, and Archival war footage.

Alias - Season 1 DVD
Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the DVD Release for Alias - The Complete First Season. Set for release on September 2nd Alias, a six disc box set, will be presented in Full Frame (despite the series being broadcast in HD!) with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and feature: Audio Commentaries on select episodes, deleted scenes, audition footage a pilot episode production diary, "A Mission Around The World" featurette, "Marshall Finkman's Gadget Gallery," and previews of Seasons 2 and 3. As the lines between mainstream and porn blur at an ever increasing rate there is one person who seems so recognizable that he's known both by the avid adult fans and by people who have never seen an adult movie in their life - Ron Jeremy.
