The Aisle View: Phone Booth
This week The Aisle View takes a look at Phone Booth, Joel Schumacher's adaptation of a Larry Cohen script, which puts star Colin Farrell in the position of finally having to show that all the hype is justified. DVD Savant: West Side Story, The Awful Truth and More
This week The DVD Savant takes a look at MGM's big West Side Story a special edition boxed set that is worth the wait. The documentary Without Lying Down: Frances Marion and the Power of Women in Hollywood an informative and pleasant look at the meteoric career of Hollywood's highest paid screenwriter of her time. Criterion's Les Dames du Bois de Boulogne is a truly obscure wonderment that would surely be passed over by almost any other DVD distributor. The Awful Truth - the cleverest of Screwball Comedies is one of Cary Grant's best, and after you see Irene Dunne, she'll become a favorite for sure. The Pianist
Universal Studios Home Video has announced the DVD release for the surprise Oscar winner The Pianist which won Oscars both for Best Actor (Adrien Brody) and Best Director (Roman Polanski). The Pianist is set for release on May 27th and will be available in separate Widescreen and Full Frame versions with Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio and feature: "Story of Survival" - a featurette on the making of the film, and Archival war footage.

Paramount has announced the DVD release for the critically acclaimed Narc. Alias - Season 1 DVD
Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the DVD Release for Alias - The Complete First Season. Set for release on September 2nd Alias, a six disc box set, will be presented in Full Frame (despite the series being broadcast in HD!) with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and feature: Audio Commentaries on select episodes, deleted scenes, audition footage a pilot episode production diary, "A Mission Around The World" featurette, "Marshall Finkman's Gadget Gallery," and previews of Seasons 2 and 3. DVD Talk Interview - Ron Jeremy
As the lines between mainstream and porn blur at an ever increasing rate there is one person who seems so recognizable that he's known both by the avid adult fans and by people who have never seen an adult movie in their life - Ron Jeremy.
