TiVo Alert: Dinner for Five

Bruce Campbell, Roger Corman and Rob Zombie sit down for any CineSchlocker's dream din-din!!! Should be a hoot for all who can stomach IFC host Jon Favreau's nack for bringing talk back around to his own films: "Hey! I was in Rudy!"

So...what time's the show on?

What time? I'm a TiVo timeshifter, but it's a fair question:

- Friday, April 15 10:00 PM
- Saturday, April 16 1:00 AM
- Saturday, April 16 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, April 19 10:00 PM

Hey, easy on Favs! At least he invites some interesting people on his show, not just those pimping their latest gig. Of course the conversation comes back to movies he's been in, since he invites people he knows, i.e. people he's worked with. Now if they could just have a PCU reunion...

Thanks for the heads up on the showtimes, Schlockmeister...stupid me though, all I had to do was follow the links you provided on the main page.

Oh, Jason, can't imagine we're far from an ode to PCU! :)

Dang if Favreau didn't shut my mouth, though! Not a single self-referential line. WHAT A GREAT SHOW! The B-geek in me just couldn't get enough of Corman. How fantastic that he got that much screen time. Listening to him talking about marketing films 20, 30 years ago -- and TODAY! He has such poise and such intellect. He reminds me a lot of Herschell Gordon Lewis in those regards. Gentleman schlockmeisters!

Maybe I'll get a chance to take Mr. Corman out for salad and swordfish sometime. Although, thanks to Dinner for Five, I sort of feel like I already have!
