The Movie:

Rather than the usual collection, this disc provides more of a documentary look, similar to some of the presentations that Mariah Carey that has offered on DVD. "Feelin' So Good" is a mixture of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and concert/music video presentations.

It's interesting to watch this disc after watching Lopez in "The Cell". I think it's been impressive to watch her mature as an actress; although much has been made of her supposedly demanding attitude, I think she's talented as not only a singer/dancer but as a dramatic actress - I'm sure a comedic role is right around the corner.

The interview footage in-between the performance segements is certainly not informal and personal, it's very slick and promotional, but at least Lopez comes through energetically and without much star-ego. We don't learn a great deal of in-depth information about the actress/singer's career beyond some basic information, but I thought it proved a mildly entertaining listen, if not something that I'm going to come back to too often. There is one especially interesting segement where we see part of the "Waiting For Tonight" video. Although I'm not really a big fan of her music, I do appreciate it and found it enjoyable and entertaining to listen to throughout.

The DVD

VIDEO/AUDIO: The documentary is enjoyably presented in Dolby Digital 5.1. The surround audio provides a strong platform for the music, which sounds often rich and bassy throughout the presentation. The interview segements are certainly dialogue-driven, but there is often music playing solidly in the background. Overall, the audio quality is smooth and clean, certainly filling the listening space nicely with the beats of the music. The video quality for the presentation generally is remarkably good, with excellent sharpness and detail. Some of the footage is letterboxed, while most of the interview segements are full-frame.

MENUS:: The main menu provides animation and music in the background, but the sub-menus are plain.

EXTRAS:: There are quite a few extras actually; the main presentation may be in the form of a documentary, but the extras provide another set of features that provide more enjoyment for fans of the singer.

Music Videos: Presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 - "If You Had My Love", "No Me Ames", "Waiting For Tonight", "Waiting For Tonight"(Spanish), "Waiting For Tonight"(Hex Hector Remix), "Waiting For Tonight"(Megamix), "If You Had My Love"(Darkchild Remix), "Baila" and "Feelin' So Good".

TV Performances: Presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 - "If You Had My Love"(Blockbuster Awards), "If You Had My Love"(Darkchild Remix)/VH1 Fashion Awards), "Waiting For Tonight"(Hex Hector Remix)/Billboard Music Awards) and "Let's Get Loud" (Women's World Cup Final).

Also: A 3 minute featurette showing Jennifer behind-the-scenes at a photo shoot, biography, photo gallery and Electronic Press Kit. The EPK runs about 9 1/2 minutes and provides additional interview footage with the singer.

Final Thoughts: Overall, a great package for fans of the singer, with very good audio quality and some solid extra features.
