The DVD

Video:
The video is given in 1.85:1 ratio widescreen color. The quality is pretty good and one of the best things about this release. The picture looks fairly clean. However, there are portions when high movement appears choppy. In general, color and flesh tones look quite rich. There are also instances where it is clear that portions of the video were filmed on location.

Audio:
The audio is given in 2.0 Dolby digital stereo sound. The sound quality is good, except it offers very little distinction in separation between channels. There is a lot of spoken dialogue, most of which occurs concurrently with background music. Both are quite easy to hear.

Extras:
The first extra is 28 minutes of outtakes, which was fairly interesting. The most exciting extra is the photo gallery, which runs in at 10 minutes and shows various pictures from the girls' pictorials. However, the resolution of the picture is not great. There also trailers for other playboy video releases

Final Thoughts:
From looking at the DVD cover, I was expecting the world. Unfortunately, it was a completely wrong impression. I found that this Playboy video was even less exciting than the 2005 Video Playmate Calendar. This was primarily due to the fact that not a whole lot happens in the video. It runs pretty short and gets boring very quickly. This is probably best suited for the fans. But, if you also find that you enjoy uncensored special editions of E! Entertainment, then this DVD release might just intrigue you. However, I suggest that you skip it.
