Almost no other place on earth has inspired so much hope, tragedy and triumph as Everest. Captured magnificently in this IMAX film and wonderfully narrated by Liam Nielson, Everest IMAX follows the almost impossible quest of a group of climbers who push them selves to the absolute limit to get to the top of the greatest mountain of the world.

When you think about it, this film should never have been able to have been made - the task of climbing Everest has cost many people their lives, the thought of someone climbing and filming is almost unthinkable. But Everest IMAX does the unthinkable, and captures such breath taking images, you'll want to watch this movie again and again.

Coming from an IMAX print on to DVD, the picture is pristine and clear, with rich and clear images that shine on DVD.

The sound is equally as pristine with a crystal clear narration track and great surround sound that pulls you in to the story.

If you buy this DVD, BE SURE not to miss the making of documentary in the special features area of this DVD, it is just as good as the main feature and chronicles the impossible task of lugging all the film equipment up the mountain.

Everest is one great DVD and it brings home a unique home theater experience that you don't want to miss.
