General Overview
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are at it again in what I would call the worst workout video of all time. The DCC Power Bod Squad Calorie Blasting Dance routine is best described as boring, easy and annoying, and I do not recommend that you learn that the hard way. Take my advice and skip this ridiculous workout entirely.

Now, I'm no dancer, but I was on the dance team from 7th grade through senior year of high school. Each summer we'd host a dance camp for little girls where we'd teach a routine that was exciting for the kids but for anyone over the age of 6 it was mind numbingly easy and repetitive. This DCC routine was reminiscent of those summer camps but with a lot more gyrating and "sexy walks."

The routine is taught in five sections with each cheerleader sharing two 8-counts of her signature move. At the end you combine them all together to create a routine that I assure you will not blast any calories but will make you want to slam your head against a wall.

Equipment Needed
Nothing but patience will get you through this video.

Effectiveness
100% ineffective. Even the faster version of the final routine (in the extras section) will not get your heart rate up.

Safety
If I say this routine is hazardous to your health will you not do it?

Cast/Instructor
The cast consists of five Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and their choreographer. The choreographer leads the warm-up and cool down as well as a bonus ab routine. The other cheerleaders each get a chance to teach their signature moves. When it's not their turn to speak, this doesn't stop the other girls from talking over the lead teacher. This is perhaps the most entertaining part of the video and is most apparent during the warm-up when no one will shut up.

The instruction is slow and quite condescending. Don't tell me I've done a "great job!" after an elementary grapevine to the left. I'm offended.

Music
The music takes a back seat to the passive aggressive instructor battle for attention.

Set
The video was filmed inside the famed DCC studio.

Negatives
Everything about this video is negative. It will bore you to tears and won't give you an effective workout.

Conclusion
This video is worthless and I would never recommend it to anyone. That is, of course, unless you are looking for a workout routine for a child and don't mind her bumping and grinding her hips around and being exposed to these morons. I advise against that.

Katie
