|Biography:||Paul Mavis is a movie and television historian, freelance writer and member of the Online Film Critics Society. Paul's first book, The Espionage Filmography (McFarland and Co. Publishers, Inc., 2001), can be found in libraries and universities all over the world. |
Paul was the Film Historian for The Toledo Museum of Art, where in addition to his curatorial duties and general sweeping up, he presented a weekly movie series for the public, as well as museum lectures that were sparsely attended.
Paul has contributed movie articles for national publications, including The Viewsletter and American Movie Classics Magazine. Minoring in Coopering and Gandy Dancing, he holds a B.A. in Film Theory and History...and never wants to see the inside of a film school again.
Paul lives in the Great American Midwest, with his wife and five children.
