Meth & Red: How to Throw a Party at the Playboy Mansion! is a sixty minute feature about Redman and Method Man (hip-hop stars) and their crazy adventure at the Playboy Mansion. The feature depicts a series of events, with Redman and Method Man narrating. It begins with them running around on the Playboy grounds while Hef was out and turning the mansion upside after throwing a wild party. For a movie (and I use the term movie, feature, film, etc. very loosely), there is not much to Meth & Red: How to Throw a Party at the Playboy Mansion!. Redman and Method Man see lots of naked girls in various situations and it ends with a party on the Playboy grounds. If you are looking for some nakedness tied into a story, Meth & Red: How to Throw a Party at the Playboy Mansion! just might be of interest to you. I, however, found it to be dull and a waste of time.

The feature is divided into nine chapters. They are the following:

"Bust In" begins the tail and it isn't much more than Redman and Method Man sneaking onto the Playboy Mansion ground and watching Hef leave the premises in his limo with a couple of bunnies. After Hef leaves, the two head off to find some Playboy bunnies in "Find Me Some Bunnies". Fortunately for them, they spot three girls in an outdoor pool with a waterfall. The girls take off their tops, rub their boobies, splash each other with water, and have an all around good time. Next in "Serve It Up!", the guys referee four girls in a tennis match. Did I mention they play without tops and bottoms?

The journey continues in "Shake...", which is a couple of minutes of the guys moving their heads up and down as they watch some topless girls jump on a trampoline. "and Bake..." takes the guys inside. They find some girls in tanning booths. Next they go into the steam bath with four naked girls and they smoke fake marijuana, which leads to some kissing. In "Cue Ball" the guys play strip billiards with a girl. She gets naked and fondles herself on top of the pool table.

"Bush Boys" is a short segment, where the guys look at female pubic hair. "Night Moves Y'All" is the party promised in the feature's title. Redman and Method Man invite their friends to the mansion for a night of fun. It includes a scene with nude wrestling and a rather large group of naked girls in a pool. The last scene "Bust Out!!!" features candid shots of people dancing with several butt shots and naked girls.

Overall, I was not impressed with this feature. I did enjoy it more than previous Playboy videos I have reviewed because there was a storyline to follow, although extremely limited. Unless you are dying to see some girls take their tops off and prance around, there is little reason to invest time or money in this DVD.

The DVD

Video:
The feature is presented in 1.33:1 ratio full screen color. The quality is pretty good and one of the best things about this release. The picture looks fairly clean. However, there are several scenes filmed with very low light.

Audio:
The audio is given in 2.0 Dolby digital stereo sound. The sound quality is good, except it offers very little distinction in separation between channels. There is a lot of spoken dialogue, most of which occurs concurrently with background music. Both are quite easy to hear.

Extras:
For extras, there is a behind the scenes feature. It contains candid behind the scenes footage with dialogue from Redman, Method Man, Sasha Singleton, Jelena Jensen, Irina Voronina, Lisa Cabalero, Sharee English, Felicia Tang, Dita De Leone, assistant director John Nguyen, writer Kenny Buford, executive producer Shauna Garr, executive producer James Ellis, writer Richard Marincic, VP Production (Playboy) Eric Deutsch, and others. It runs for approximately eighteen minutes.
