After a lackluster initial release of the Dune Mini-Series on DVD, Artisan has decided to revisit the DVD release with their upcoming Dune: Special Edition Directors Cut on 4/23. Many of you will be excited to hear that this time around the DVD will be 16x9 enhanced and sport both a Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio track. Aside from the improved tech specs the Dune DVD will also feature 30 Mins of new integrated footage, Audio Commentary with Frank Herbert Jr., John Harrison and William Hurt, Science Fiction Round Table with including John Harrison, Richard Dreyfuss, Salman Rushdie, George Lucas, Alexa Poryas, Ursula K.
