Disney has announced the highly anticpated DVD release for Beauty and The Beast Platinum Edition. The 2 DVD Special Edition is set for release on October 8 and will feature three versions of the film: the Special Edition with the all-new musical sequence "Human Again," the Original Theatrical Edition, and the Work-In-Progress Edition, as shown at the 1991 New York Film Festival.
