Buena Vista has announced the official release date for Amelie (7/16) however no details of the release will be announced until after the Academy Awards. With 2 Extremely feature rich releases in France and Quebec, Buena Vista has the ability to draw from a ton of additional content to make a Special Edition of Amelie. What it will probably boil down to is economics.
