Lost in La Mancha - A Doc of Terry Gilliam's Disaster
Docurama has announced the DVD release for Lost in La Mancha, a brilliant documentary which follows Terry Gilliam's disastrous attempt at making The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. Not since Hearts of Darkness have seen a more poignant portrait of a film makers turmoil. Lost in La Mancha will be released on June 24th as a 2 disc special edition including interviews with Terry Gilliam, Johnny Depp, and co-directors of the documentary Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe, nine deleted scenes which add yet ANOTHER layer of gloom and doom to already dark events, 'Sound Bytes' six sequences assembled from unused interview footage, Storyboards and Production Stills and more! Pre-Order Lost in La Mancha at: Amazon.com or DVDEmpire.
