Paramount Home Video has announced the DVD release for the disaster flick The Core starring Aaron Eckhart, Delroy Lindo and Hilary Swank. Set for release on September 9th The Core will be released in separate widescreen and fullscreen editions with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and feature: Commentary by Director Jon Amiel The Making Of The Core, A Visual Effects featurette and 10 Deleted/Extended Scenes with Director's Commentary. The Core had one of the worst theatrical release dates this year as it coincided with the start of the war in Iraq, so if you're like almost everyone else who missed it in the theaters, be sure to check it out on DVD.
