DVDs Just Announced
Here's a quick wrap up of some of the DVD titles just announced by studios: Fox has the much buzzed about Alien Quadrilogy Box Set on 12/9 which DOES include the Director's cut of Alien [Review] now in theaters, Columbia Tri-Star has Underworld on 1/6 [Review] - yes Kate Beckinsale looks great in leather but the movie pales in comparison to many of the great vampire flicks already on DVD, HBO has the controversial Capturing the Friedmans on 1/27 with a ton of extra content that gives even more fuel to the argument over what exactly happened and American Splendor on 2/3 [Review] one of the most innovative bio-pics we've ever seen, and certainly one of the best films of 2003! MGM has Rain Man: Special Edition on 2/3 with the key feature being a Barry Levinson's audio commentary and Buena Vista has Spy Kids 3D on 2/24 complete with several pairs of 3D glasses.
