Freaks and Geeks on DVD
Shout Factory has announced the DVD release for the extremely popular Freaks & Geeks: The Complete Series. Set for release on April 6th, Freaks & Geeks will be released in two separate versions: a 6 disc feature packed special edition featuring all 18 episodes of the show (including three which did not air on network TV), 28 audio commentaries, Director's Cut Pilot Episode, Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Cast Auditions, and more. The 6 Disc SE will be available at all traditional online and offline retail outlets. The second release, a fan edition, will only be available online at Freaksandgeeksdvd.com and includes the 6 discs of the special edition as well as two bonus discs including: three live table readings of key episodes, interviews with the cast and show creators, more deleted scenes, exclusive behind the scenes footage, an unshot script and a ton of other great content. What makes these two releases even more exciting is that Freaks & Geeks DVD has been made possible by the immense online fan support for the series.
