May The Force Be With You - Star Wars Trilogy DVD Media Day & DVD Review
Could there be a bigger event on DVD than the release of the long-awaited Star Wars Trilogy [Review]? Probably not – and so with that in mind, we sent DVD Talk writer Holly Ordway to the Star Wars Media Day hosted by Lucasfilm and Twentieth Century Fox. Holly brings back a complete report on the Star Wars Trilogy DVDs including a look at the new transfers, panel discussions with: Rick Dean (the THX technical director), John Lowry (the head film restoration expert), and Van Ling (the DVD producer and menu designer) as well as Irvin Kershner, the director of The Empire Strikes Back, and Mark Hamill. Read the complete wrap up from the Star Wars Media Day. Also be sure to read Holly's extensive review of the Star Wars Trilogy DVDs!
