A good mix of DVDs announced this week, including one of the best comedies of the summer, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle on 1/4 and which will be released in both rated and unrated editions, The Commish - Season 1 on 11/16 - a treat for Michael Chiklis fans while they endure the long wait for the next season of The Shield, Sister Helen on 11/30 - a brilliant documentary which won the Sundance Directing Award, Open Water on 12/28 - the real life story of two divers stranded in shark infested waters, Twilight Zone: Season 1 on 12/28 - over 900 mins of pure genius television, The Intended on 12/28 - a unique and stylized epic rom IFC Films and Danish filmmaker Kristian Levring , Catwoman on 1/18 - Halle Berry in a cat suit, probably not reason enough to shell out $12 to see this disaster in theaters, but a DVD rental... that's another story and The Notebook on 2/8 - the best adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks book yet.
