Just when you thought all the good DVDs had been announced for the year, studios announce another batch of noteworthy DVDs streeting in December, including: Shaun of The Dead on 12/21 - a genre defying zombie comedy is so good it's scary, Ghost In The Shell 2 on 12/28 - nothing can compare to the original, but this sequel is worth checking out in its own right, Wimbledon on 12/28 - we're Kirsten Dunst fans, but is that enough to pick up this lack luster film, Time Of The Wolf on 12/14 - another insanely good film from the folks at Palm Pictures. Other DVDs announced this week for beyond December include: AVP - Alien Vs. Predator on 1/25 - two big sci-fi franchises enter and only one will survive, or perhaps this will kill them both, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind: Collector's Edition on 1/4 - we're as surprised as you are to see the announcement of a Collector's Edition of this amazing film, especially several months after the standard edition release, but who can complain when one of the best films of the year gets the royal treatment.
