DVD Talk Interview: Director James L. Brooks
If there's any director who understands the bitter sweet nuances of life in film it's James L. Brooks. Brook's films are all marked with an incredible understanding of people and how they relate to each other. He's both written and directed such landmark films as Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News and As Good as It Gets, not to mention his work on The Simpsons. Now with Spanglish Brooks takes a look at the relationship between people who can't communicate, whether by language barrier or otherwise. DVD Talk Editor Geoffrey Kleinman sat down with James L. Brooks to talk about the DVD release for Spanglish. Brooks talks about some of the key themes in the film, working with Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni as well as the possibility of a Simpson's movie. Download the complete audio interview with James L. Brooks or listen live online with our DVD Talk Radio Player. Be sure to check out DVD Talk Radio for interviews and other great audio content.
