Apollo 13 has had a pretty remarkable voyage over the past ten years. In its initial release in theaters the film rocketed to success with Academy Award nominations for best film, best supporting actor and actress, and snatched the statue for best film editing and sound mixing. Apollo 13 then voyaged onto DVD where it became on of Universal's best sellers. But the voyage didn't end there. Apollo 13 made trip back again to theaters, this time onto the large format IMAX screens where audiences experienced the film in an entirely new way. Now the voyage of Apollo 13 finds its way back to DVD with the 10th Anniversary Edition complete with never before seen extras, both theatrical cuts of the film and much more.
