DVD Talk Review Round Up - Six Feet Under, Moonlighting and SMiLE
With literally thousands of DVD Reviews (over 11,900 reviews!) in the DVD Talk Review Database it's easy to miss some of the notable reviews written by our staff. Recent DVD Reviews include:
Jamie's Kitchen - a fantastic show from England that is more real than "reality" TV, King of the Hill - The Complete Fourth Season - a very good season of an often overlooked show, Beautiful Dreamer: Brian Wilson and the Story of SMiLE - the definitive utopian view of the United States as filtered through the last fading twilight in the Summer of Love, Assault on Precinct 13 - a fast paced action thriller with some pretty decent performances and solid moments of genuine tension, Six Feet Under - The Complete Third Season - with brilliant writing, inspired directing, magnificent performances from everyone involved, and hauntingly perfect musical selections, this DVD set is something truly special and Moonlighting - Seasons 1 & 2 - not as audacious and edgy as it was 20 year ago but it is still a lot of fun. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
