This Week's Notable DVDs - Guess Who, Cypher and The Thin Man
A great week for notable DVDs including: Guess Who [Review] - a surprisingly charming comedy with fantastic chemistry between Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher; Cypher [Review]- The "lost" film from Cube director Vincenzo Natali and it's definitely one to seek out; The High and the Mighty [Review] and Island In The Sky - two notable John Wayne films fans have been eagerly waiting for;
Thin Man Collection - six great classic films finally out on DVD; Downfall - a stellar performance by Bruno Ganz in a film that looks at the fall of Hitler; Alexander - Director's Cut [Review] - a Director's Cut that's actually shorter than the theatrical cut, either way it's an amusing train wreck. Other notable DVDs out this week include: Candid Camera: Decades of Smiles [Review], Cosby Show: Season 1, Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Gift Set and Over There [Review].
