Many of the films we saw and loved at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival have found their way to your local multiplex (including Hustle and Flow, Me You and Everyone We Know and The Aristocrats). Some of the Sundance slate is now on DVD ( including Rory O'Shea Was Here, Layer Cake and 3 Iron). There are however, a group of fantastic films which can only be seen on the festival circuit. BendFilm 2005 captures these hidden gems from Sundance and combines them with a slate of films including gems from the Tribecca, Slamdance and Newport film festivals. Running from September 22-25 BendFilm is a relatively new entry to the festival scene, located in the majestic resort town of Bend, Oregon, it hopes to make its mark as one of the premiere fiercely independent film festivals in the country.
