An unexpectedly high number of notable DVDs this week including: Grizzly Man [Review] - Werner Herzog's stunning documentary must been seen to be believed; The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill [Review] - a charming film that is much more than just another nature documentary; Shield: Season 4 [Review] - Glenn Close and Anthony Anderson join the cast of one of TV's best series; Dark Water - Unrated [Review] - one of the more successful American remakes of a Japanese horror flick, but then again we'll watch anything with Jennifer Connelly in it; 2046 [Review] - another beautiful film from Wong Kar Wai.
