This Week's Notable DVDs: The Weather Man, Action and All The President's Men
This week is packed full of notable DVDs including: The Weather Man [Review] - Nick Cage stars in an emotionally complex and brilliantly done film that was tragically overlooked; Action [Review] - a brutal send up of the entertainment industry that is a real treat for Jay Mohr fans; All the President's Men: SE [Review] - engaging as a film, essential as American history and a DVD worthy of our highest rating; North Country [Review] - an emotionally brutal, complex film that doesn't offer easy answers to tough questions; Pulse (Kairo) [Review] - Interview] - Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "genre-redefining" film; Rent [Review] - not in the same league as the Broadway play but the music still makes it worth a Rent-al. Other notable DVDs out this week include:
Dick Cavett Show: Comic Legends [Review],
Domino [Review], Left of the Dial [Review], Memory of a Killer [Review]
NYPD Blue: S3 [Review], Separate Lies [Review] and
