This Week's Notable DVDs: King Kong, Memoirs of A Geisha and Robot Chicken
A solid week for notable DVDs including: King Kong - Peter Jackson's roller coaster ride update of the classic film with over 2 1/2 hours of non-commentary bonus material; Memoirs of a Geisha [Review] Rob Marshall's visually stunning adaptation of the best seller; The Andy Milonakis Show: S1 [Review] - either pure drivel or pure genius, we're not quite sure; Robot Chicken: S1 - Seth Green combines an encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture with some animated action figures into pure hilarity; Six Feet Under: S5 - Everything ends, including our favorite series, but it's nice to see it sent off so well. Other notable DVDs out this week include: 3 Films By Louis Malle, The Children Are Watching Us [Review], Doctor Who - The Beginning,
Planet of the Apes: Ultimate,
Story of Qui Ju [Review], TransGeneration [Review] and
Wonder Showzen: S1 [Review]. Read our List of Top Upcoming DVDs for more great DVDs out this week, visit our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
