New Movie Reviews - Slither, Brick, Ice Age 2 and Basic Instinct 2
We recently added critic Brian Orndorf to our review panel and he's been hitting movies in the theaters with a vengeance. This week we have reviews of: Slither - a wonderfully slimy and silly horror flick from Writer/director James Gunn; Brick - classic noir set in a modern day highschool is an ambitious choice for a film that might have needed to try a little harder; Ice Age 2: The Meltdown - a clear upgrade over the first film that will delight both kids and parents; Basic Instinct 2 - don't expect the sexual fireworks of the first or a strong performance from Sharron Stone and you might just enjoy it; ATL - a superb film with a lot to say about people, and it does so with vigor and intelligence. Also be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films including: Awesome I F**cking Shot That, Inside Man, Thank You For Smoking, V for Vendetta and Find Me Guilty. As always we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
