This week Disney unveiled an extremely significant step in the High-Def format war - a double barreled shot of Pirates of the Caribbean on Blu-Ray. Timed with the theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Disney is releasing both Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest [Review] on filled-to-the-brim 50GB Blu-Ray Discs. To mark the occasion Disney pulled together a who's who of home entertainment press along with their top executives to make their case on why they're betting it all on Blu-Ray.
