New Movie Reviews: Bee Movie, American Gangster, and Martian Child
Jerry Seinfeld's highly-anticipated animated film, Bee Movie, finally comes to fruition with some very solid results. What the film may lack in clever plot, it certainly makes up for with the presence of Seinfeld and some beautiful visuals. Bee Movie buzzes into theaters everywhere this weekend. Also in theaters this week is American Gangster - put Ridley Scott together with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe and you get a pretty amazing work of cinema; Martian Child - John Cusack and Amanda Peet lead the way in this interesting little film about a boy who believes he's a Martian; and Runnin' Down a Dream: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Peter Bogdanovich's excellent film about one of rock music's greatest legends. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Bill's Big Pumpkins, Darfur Now, Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten, Control, Dan in Real Life, Saw IV, Blade Runner: The Final Version, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Bella, King Corn, Mr. Untouchable, Cinerama Adventure, Sleuth, Lars and the Real Girl, Gone Baby Gone, 30 Days of Night. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films in theaters in our Movie Talk Forum Area.
