New DVD Reviews: Academy Award Short Films, High Noon, and Caramel
A Collection of 2007 Academy Award Nominated Short Films Every week DVDTalk's panel of writers adds dozens of reviews to the DVD Talk Review Database. With so many entries it's easy to miss some quality DVDs. Some new reviews of note include: A Collection of 2007 Academy Award Nominated Short Films - 2007 was a complete knockout for Academy Award-nominated short films and this disc gathers the best of them in one amazing collection; High Noon (2-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition) - do yourself a favor and rush out and buy this noe. This edition is worth it for the new transfer of this iconic western; and Caramel - This is a film for those who like their cinema mixing everything there is to mix: humor, drama, rhetoric, religion, erotica, and everything else that falls in between. Don't miss it. Other recent reviews include: The Mummy, Definitely, Maybe, and The Ballad of Narayama (1983).  Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week and the ability to browse reviews by studio.
