New Movie Reviews: Eagle Eye, Miracle at St. Anna, and Nights in Rodanthe
Think your cell phone is safe? Shia LeBeouf and director D.J. Caruso would like to disagree, offering the action thriller Eagle Eye to prove their point. Spike Lee observes the African-American experience during WWII in the glacial drama Miracle at St. Anna. And Diane Lane and Richard Gere reteam for the convincingly romantic soap opera Nights in Rodanthe. Also in theaters: Diane Keaton effectively destroys her career in the Dax Shepard comedy Smother. Sam Rockwell stars in the diseased adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's novel Choke. Northern Californian marijuana farmers grow a heart in Humboldt County. And Tim Robbins, Michael Pena, and Rachel McAdams plays Iraq War soldiers with no home to return to in The Lucky Ones. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: The Duchess, My Best Friend’s Girl, Lakeview Terrace, Ghost Town, Burn After Reading, Righteous Kill, The Women, The Family That Preys, Towelhead, Sukiyaki Western Django, Yella, The House Bunny, Tropic Thunder, Igor, and Battle in Seattle. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films In Theaters in our Movie Talk Forum.
