Silent DVD: Buster Keaton's Classic The General
This week Silent DVD is back with a special guest review of one of the greatest comedies from the silent era: Buster Keaton's The General. Kino has recently released a two-disc Ultimate edition, and Jeremy Mathews gives his impressions of this new edition. We also have information on a new boxed set of D. W. Griffith films including the classic Way Down East (1920) and his two final films, Abraham Lincoln (1930) and The Struggle (1931). There's news on Flicker Alley's highly anticipated Douglas Fairbanks box set too, Douglas Fairbanks: A Modern Musketeer. All this and more in this installment of Silent DVD!
