DVD Savant: Sabrina, Casablanca, and The Third Man
Sabrina This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews including: Sabrina - Paramount's Centennial Edition of Billy Wilder's romantic hit improves on the older disc. Bogart, Hepburn and Holden are a great threesome and the movie is as light as ever; Casablanca - Warners Ultimate Collector's Edition may be the best looking B&W video release ever. Bogie and Bergman are back, but they look much, much better. A fancy box aimed at gift-givers contains some novelty extras; and The Third Man - Critierion's first Blu-ray out the gate is a beauty, making Carol Reed's superlative thriller even more stunning. All previous extras are duplicated. Read all this and more in this week's DVD Savant.
