New Movie Reviews: Friday the 13th, International, and Two Lovers
The wrath of horror icon Jason Voorhees has been resurrected by another frightening figure of cinema, Michael Bay, in Friday the 13th. Clive Owen and Naomi Watts battle merciless evil in the form of a global bank in the Tom Tykwer thriller The International. And Joaquin Phoenix has to pick between Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw in the James Gray drama/male fantasy Two Lovers. Also in theaters: Actress Isla Fisher is wonderful, yet the materialistic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic is not. And the mob genre is taken to disturbing new heights in the outstanding crime film Gomorrah. Be sure to catch reviews of other recent Theatrical Films: Coraline, He's Just Not That Into You, The Pink Panther 2, Push, Taken, New in Town, The Uninvited, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, and Gran Torino. As always, we invite you to share your thoughts on films In Theaters in our Movie Talk Forum.
