This week the DVD Savant has a number of new reviews including: Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired - Marina Zenovich's docu examines the crime that sent director Polanski into exile, using remarkable, unseen news footage and thorough, illuminating interviews; Yentl - This Two-Disc Director's Cut marks the first time Barbra Streisand's first directorial effort has been released to DVD. It's a musical, a drama and a comedy. The extras include unseen rehearsal videos and a unreleased songs; and Assault on Precinct 13 - John Carpenter's first Panavision thriller comes to Blu-ray, and looks terrific.
