This Week's Notable DVDs: Slumdog Millionaire, Marley and Me, and Tell No One
There's a few new releases this week that you won't want to miss. Titles such as: Slumdog Millionaire - the big winner at this year's Academy Awards, taking home 8 Oscars including Best Picture arrives on DVD and Blu-ray; Marley and Me [1st review, 2nd review] - a film with ample charm provided by Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, who are both more appealing than they've been in many of their recent efforts; and Tell No One [DVD review, Blu-ray review]- an astonishingly well-crafted thriller: visually sumptuous, unrelentingly tense, and striking the perfect balance between dense plotting and strong characterization.
Other releases of note include: The Matrix 10th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray Book [Blu-ray], Ricky Gervais: Out of England - The Stand-Up Special [review], and Star of David: Hunting for Beautiful Girls [review].
