Some noteworthy DVDs are coming out this week including: The Closer: The Complete Fourth Season - Kyra Sedgwick returns in the fourth season of TNT's top-notch crime show that boasts an ensemble case second to none; The Sky Crawlers [DVD review, Blu-ray review] - seasoned director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) crafts a totally believable alternate world that is nothing less than fascinating; and Field of Dreams (Blu-ray) [review] - a mostly film that avoids syrupy sentimentality, pulling back just enough to make a richly satisfying movie without the sickly sweet aftertaste.
