DVD Talk Interview: Kevin Murphy
Kevin Murphy Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans will instantly recognize the name of Kevin Murphy. He was the voice behind Tom Servo for most of the series run. He's now re-teamed with fellow MST alumni Mike Nelson and Bill Corbett and the trio continues to spoof movies on reasonably priced downloadable MP3s called Rifftrax. The idea has worked so well that on June 16th the group will release 10 Rifftrax DVDs including such classic titles as Reefer Madness and Plan 9 From Outer Space. DVD Talk's own Jason Bailey had a chance to sit down with Kevin Murphy and talk about Rifftrax, if Plan 9 is really the worst movie ever, and the joy of riffing educational shorts. Check out what Kevin has to say in this DVD Talk interview.
