New DVD Reviews: Star Trek: The Next Generation, Monsoon Wedding, and Not Quite Hollywood
Our reviewers have been busy this week, filling the DVD
Talk Review Database more great entries. Some new reviews of note include: Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection - a solid set with above-average packaging, high-quality technical presentation, and decent, interesting bonus content; Monsoon Wedding - Criterion Collection - Director Mira Nair and writer Sabrina Dhawan have concocted a sweet confection that has lots of hidden treats at its center; and Not Quite Hollywood - a raucous, joyous history and celebration of "Ozploitation" cinema, low-budget pictures made in the 1970s and 80s by the then-thriving Australian film industry.
Other recent reviews include: The Achievers: The Story Of Lebowski Fans, British Cinema Comedy Collection, and The Exiles. Visit the DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews.
