TV on DVD: Doc Martin, A Mind to Kill, and Midsomer Murders
Doc Martin - Series 3 When it comes to TV on DVD, especially British shows, the publisher Acorn is in a league of their own. They consistently release excellent sets that garner raves from DVDTalk reviewers. Some of their most recent collections, that all come Highly Recommended, include: Doc Martin - Series 3 - a well-written, superbly-acted comedy-drama that is extremely funny when its title character is at his cruelest best; A Mind to Kill: Series 1 - Graphic, depressing, hard-edged, and solid - a winner for anyone looking for something tough and off-beat; and Midsomer Murders: Barnaby's Casebook - filled with odd and likeable characters, some crackin' mysteries and a nice dollop of humor, mystery fans will have a great time watching this wonderful series. Other Acorn shows recently reviewed include:  The Red Green Show: The Infantile Years - Seasons 1991-1993, Murphy's Law: Series One and Bonekickers.  Want more?  Check out all of the TV on DVD reviews in the DVDTalk database.
