It's a bit of a slow week for new releases, but check out these titles that will be hitting store shelves today: The Offence [review] - a criminally underrated and lesser known effort from actor Sean Connery and director Sidney Lumet... a fantastic film, one that any fan of quality filmmaking should appreciate; and Witness to Murder [review] - a really enjoyable crime thriller, a film ripe with noirish atmosphere, solid performances and some enjoyable scenes of rock-solid suspense... absolutely recommended for film noir buffs and fans of vintage thrillers.
