New Reviews: The Post, Underworld U.S.A., and Grease
This week the DVD Talk Review Database has some great new entries, including a few discs you may have overlooked. Recent reviews include:
The Post - Steven Spielberg's story of The Pentagon Papers uses the old formula of the newspaper melodrama to tell a true story of Ethics versus Expedience; Underworld U.S.A. - writer-director-producer Samuel Fuller’s 1961 movie is a throwback to Warner Bros.' gangster movies of the 1930s, with star Cliff Robertson playing a two-bit criminal single-mindedly out for vengeance, a role that would have fit James Cagney like a glove; and Grease (40th Anniversary Edition) - a staple in cinematic and musical history... its timeless music and dance is wildly infectious.
Be sure to check out our DVD Talk Review Database for all the latest reviews including an entire section devoted to reviews of DVDs out this week.
