I just got a notice from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's new Black & White 'Scope festival, which is showing a number of desirable double bills and single attractions, like THE LONGEST DAY, LA DOLCE VITA, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, along with special titles 40 GUNS, THE HAUNTING, THE INNOCENTS, etc. But the kicker is Jack Cardiff's directorial debut SONS AND LOVERS, which Savant got only a brief glimpse at in 'scope last year, transferring clips for the Cardiff Oscar montage.
