Claude Chabrol compiled 4 years' worth of propaganda newsreels from the
German occupation of France, the only visual news the French people had during
the war. An amazing record - of hateful campaigns against Jews and stupid efforts at goodwill while French soldiers remained in German POW camps. And
just wait until you see the cartoon propaganda short subject where Mickey Mouse and Popeye bomb Paris!
