Anthony Mann and James Stewart reteam in Technicolor for this Wagon Train saga dipped in Borden Chase's brand of moral fable. Arthur Kennedy is excellent as Stewart's ethical opposite; with Julia Adams, Jay C. Flippen and Rock Hudson as a toothy Mississippi Gambler.
