The Railway Children (1970) Lionel Jeffries' family film transcends most definitions of the term with this wonderful story of innocence and civility from 1900 England. Jenny Agutter is utterly charming as the rich girl who brightens up an exile to the countryside, when her father disappears under mysterious circumstances.
