The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes Billy Wilder's broken masterpiece doesn't play broken at all, with Sherlock and Watson on the trail of intrigue and adventure in a tale that includes midgets, dead canaries, an amnesiac damsel in distress, and the Loch Ness Monster.
