Father's Day, Sunday June 20, 2004

Savant's new reviews today are

Mamma Roma Criterion
Deathdream Blue Underground
A Minute to Pray, A Second to Die MGM and
The Happiest Millionaire Disney

And it's a happy (probably belated) Father's Day here, with kids calling in from back East and a fun trip to see the new Harry Potter movie, which was very pleasant. I just got the word that some Tarzan movies are on the way, and I've already seen some of the Warner film noir discs. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is also on the way, along with an irresistably tacky Joe Sarno Something Weird double bill of Sin in the Suburbs and The Swap. There's also a new Kurosawa-Renoir review expected soon. Thanks for reading! Glenn Erickson
