George Stevens: D-Day to Berlin
George Stevens Jr. again, this time with a short but potent collection of his father's 'home movies' (actually 16mm Kodachromes in
perfect condition) shot while crossing France and Germany with the Allies immediately after the Normandy invasion of 1944. The
fascinating footage hits key events like the meeting of allied commanders, entering Dachau and the liberation of Paris.
